That's more like it. However you were right in the first place.

diaglo said:i still say Gary wrote the UA for his powergaming scions.
Col_Pladoh said:If I would have been at TSR to manage the revision of the AD&D game, most of the UA material would be in that new edition without many changes. I DMed many a game with barbarian PCs, and only the mages in the group were uneasy. As for Cavaliers bettering their stats, as if any player wouldn't do that for any other character class by use of wishes and magic items enabling same. Perhaps i was a tad too generous, but at least the effort to improve the status of fighter-types was open and forthright. The method offered is like a lock on a dor, something to keep honest players honest. (How many low-lever PCS have you seen with stats that average around 16 and have one of two 18s?)

reanjr said:Really? Cause 25,000 miles south of Arjeplog puts you at the south pole...

Pbartender said:Nope... he had it right the first time. The circumference of the earth is about 24,900 miles at the equator.
Unfortunately, He's got the other half wrong... Once you hit the south pole, you start going north. On the Earth, you simply can't go more than about 12,500 miles south (or north, for that matter). You can, however, go east or west forever.
reanjr said:That was my point. 25,000 miles south of anywhere on Earth is the South Pole.
Wild Gazebo said:Careful. I just read the post of the guy who wrote that book two seconds ago. It's not nice to say things like that to people. tsk tsk tsk
