What kind of dickweed came up with the 'brilliant' idea of throwing around the name of another book just to confuse people?! I want him (or, not likely, her) to suffer from terminal trauma.

Sorry for the outburst, but this really got my fusion reactor going.

To add insult to injury, UA is nowhere to be found. No shop I've been to has it. And I can't exactly buy from the internet (since I'm underage)... Life sucks - and that's news to me (who said that?).

Well, you're insulting one of the creators of third edition, a member of these boards, and one of the best writers in the industry.

Also, AU is a far better book than Unearthed Arcana. It has some excellent ideas and the magic system is spectacular. Not to mention that WOTC stole racial paragon levels from AU and placed them in UA.

I am sorry that you're unhappy with your purchase, but you actually got the better book.

OK. 25 miles south of anywhere that isn't the North pole brings you in space, at the vertical of the South pole. Right?

IMO, the standard PHB is better. I like the fact that it's not only b/w, also. *rolls eyes*

Activating my emotional vent chambers helped, and I am no longer in danger of overloading my aggression inhibitors.

I disagree.

They didn't "steal" it. They were entitled to use it. They did, after all, create the OGL. One could say, using your reasoning, that AU stole pretty much the entire d20 system.

Again, I disagree.

No, for two reasons...

First, cardinal directions only have signifigance when you are traveling along the earth's surface. Once you reach space, they are meaningless.

Second, the internationally defined limit to space is, I believe, 62 miles or 100 kilometers. You need to go at least 62 miles straight up to get into "space".

The point I'm trying to make is that once you reach the South Pole, you can't go any farther south... You can't even go east or west... You can only go north.
