Orcus Figure

The store I work at (Mayhem Comics in Des Moines IA) is a Wizards premiere store and I run the D&D Encounters. WotC allowed us to order 2 of the Orcus minis. We are trying to get them from other channels but WotC allowed us 2.

I can't speak for other stores but that is what is happening at my store.

Guess I 'll just have to wait and see if my order goes through. I've had nothing but good experiences with the sore in question, so I honestly expect to get my Orcus.

I'm taking mine around the world and snapping pictures of it mounting* a gnome in each place I visit.

Nah, it's going to fulfill the same role in my collection that the Colossal Red Dragon does. I hardly ever actually use Big Red, but he sits on top of the storage units that hold my minis and glowers at the players. Reminds them what could happen if they get too cocky.

I know - it's the intimidation factor, too. I have the colossal red dragon, too, and recently finished a 2 1/2 year long campaign and couldn't quite fit it in within the story context (the primary bad guys were human and L/E)

But, it's still there and the players know it will be used eventually.

Orcus would probably work the same way.

We have 2 coming direct from WotC, and I ordered more from my distributors. I don't know how many the distributors will be able to fill.
