List of broken PrCs

ALienist- The best summoner PrC but out by WotC yet, Alienist isn't too strong but isn't weak, either.

I don't know ... summoned elementals are pretty strong, and then you give them True Strike!

Contemplative- The first level is cool. The second is worth considering. After that, ditch it.

Prestige Domain?

Deepwood Sniper- A good PrC, about worth taking for three or four levels.

I think if all the good stuff is right at the beginning, there is a problem.

Forsaker- In a high or med (normal) magic campaign, its worthless. In a low magic campaign, it is VERY overpowered.

Many of your powers come from breaking magic items - and you can't identify them on your own. You also don't heal well, and you must have an adamantine weapon and armor. And you can never teleport, fly, etc...

Frenzied Beserker- A good, strong, not overpowered PrC. Just be careful not to kill your allies!

Frenzy stacks with rage. So, not only can you rage better than a barbarian, but it stacks, too.

Shifter- While many people think of this as strong, or overpowered, it is truthfully weak. Being a barbarian is just better, and its useless if you play with current Polymorph.

If you go out of your way to break this (or, really, any other PrC if you try hard enough), you can break it. For instance, shifting into a troll and getting regeneration for a real long time...

Broken PrCs may be interesting now, but let's not forget that we already have some pretty ferocious core-class smacks as it is. The fact remains that the DM can easily quash any broken combination of PrCs, and most of the time, PrCs demonstrate their extreme brokenness only when dogpiled on top of other PrCs, often in ways that were never meant to go together.
