i ask because in idle moments when i imagine myself to be an independently wealthy game designer i daydream about creating Dark Hollow d20, a low-magic setting based in America from, say the end of the Civil War through the Depression. so i guess you can add Mark Twain, Flannery O'Connor and Lewis Nordan to my list of literary inspirations. throw in tall tales, murder ballads and Robert Johnson and you've got a game i'd love to see...
