Ok, I have a friend playing a dragon (Yes kysen, that's you) and am kinda searching for the right campaign for that kinda player. Any suggestions?

First of all, what kind of dragon? Also, are you using some sort of progression in a 'dragon class' as found in a particular Dragon magazine (I can't remember the number) or just a straight dragon?

If it's a dragon that has the ability to take on alternate forms (humanoid forms, specifically), you really aren't limited in terms of style. Barring that, some more specifics would definitely be helpful in coming up with good ideas :)

Op, My bad. Forgot about all that. He is:

Brass dragon from latest Dragon Mag.
Level 12
CAN chang his shape
Mixed with Fighter And a bit of sourcery
Water breathing
Underwater Lair

I can't think of anything else. He does have a hord, but just becuas I put him through a 5 min, crack pot campaign so he would. Anything else?

Ask your player if he had any ideas for goals for his character.

Generic dragon motivations:

Increase hoard.

Gain knowledge.

Find better lair.

Find mate.

Good Dragon motivations:

Battle evil.

Do good.

Save the world.

Combat anti-dragon prejudice.

Foster anti-dragon prejudice. (In an area with lots o' evil dragons.)

Uncover/stop plot against dragonkind.

Generic Good PC motivations:

Serve good (As a whole or in the person of a patron.)

Generic PC Motivation:

Get a job, execute job.

Hmm... a desert dragon, and a high-sea robber. Interesting.

Though, with an underwater lair, it seems like you have a sea-faring theme on your hands.

One idea: Ships vanishing at sea without a trace. Local economies and perhaps public health are suffering due to the loss of food and trade goods. This could appeal to the Brass Dragon's inherent goodness, and a pirate's desire to keep things stable in his watery domain.

Sounds good, I was going to have some kinda jack on the throne, and the pirate be part of a groupe trying to get rid of him. Have the dragon waltz in, and join, and kill. But it never sounded quite right. Is there much I should know befor I start this campaigne? I have actually never done a "sea-faring" one before.

A Brass Dragon with water breathing and an underwater lair? Doesn't quite fit the concept of the dragon. Brass dragons live in the desrt and enjoy dry heat. And unless the dragon has a ring of water breathing, it just doesn't fly in my mind. However a Bronze dragon has the water subtype and innate water breathing. More info for playing good dragon PCs can be found in Dragon Magazine #320 (June 2004).
