Living 4th Edition Discussion Thread

Incarnation's backstor is very interesting. Plus the idea of a warforged warlock is fun. I'd gladly be with him in an adventure. (plus weirdness of the group is fun...)

I'm inclined to auto-approve errata, but I'll defer to those with more experience following WotC publications. I'm usually the last person to find out that errata exist, let alone read them. :)

Okay so for "The Ebon Mirror: Dark Marks", so far, we have a two-blade ranger, a tactical warlord, a wizard, and two warlocks one Infernal one Fey.

My question goes out to those with more experience of 4th edition. How viable a party is this?

My question to the party is do you wish to recruit a defender or go on as is?

Well, I have plenty of HP (real and temp), surges and good defenses. Personally I'm not too worried about a defender. It all depends how easy it is to hurt the other lock and the wizard. I've found that you can get away with no defender if you can 'power' through the bad guys.

Depends on the opponents I believe. We might have trouble with close encounters of the brute kind. Minions and artillery will be meat. I've not played a lot of encounters yet though its very similar to my F2F group (1 controller, 2 leaders, 2 strikers, and 1 defender who uses light armor and weapons...)

Okay great, in that case we will get underway tomorrow. This will likely be my last post of the day fyi, RL game night.

I might try to get in a couple more approvals in the wee small hours but that probably about it for today.

I think it mostly depends on how tough the warlord is, since the ranger will probably be more mobile and less apt to a defensive role.

Hrav is now approved!

I added in the Bacarte regional benefits. Let me know if you didn't want them, but assume for the moment you do, they certainly make sense for Hrav.

You had bluff as a +2 with no apparent reason, altered to a +0.

Thats about it.

Thanks! Yeah, just forgot the regional benefits, he should have them. No idea why the Bluff +2 was there... possibly a Quagmire artifact...
