Whisper again resists the jolt to her brain (rolled 19 Will save).
Gemmo scuttles to 60N35E.
 

Whisper does another wingover and flies slowly back over to directly above Gemmo and blasts again.
She looks closely at gemmo are little pieces breaking off yet? *sigh* it will prolly all just poof when I kill it anyway.

Whisper feels a strong jolt to her brain (Rolled 12 Will save) and takes 15 points of damage. Whisper has 15 HP left.
Whisper can breathe next round (so far, she has that going for her).
 

ow. wincing in pain Whisper will breathe again and try for altitude, she should end the round at 60n30e and 35' up if there is a delay on the breath, whisper will hang out near the ceiling (hopefully out of range) then speed downwards to breathe again. Her tactics wont change any - feel free to compress.
 

Wingover sure makes the combat easier.

Whisper has to wait a round to breathe (the ceiling is out of range), and on the way down, Whisper succombs to Gemmo's readied mind jolt for 9 points of damage. Whisper is at -5 HP and dying. Whew, a tough battle. Gemmo is at 60N20E.

Gemmo tries to jolt the boar's brain, but of course, the boar does not have a normal brain to jolt.

I believe time compression is in order, because Gemmo cannot possibly hurt Greenboar. It might take a while for Gemmo to figure that out, though.

Greenboar charges, bouncing off Gemmo's crystalline structure (rolled 17+2=19 for charge). Gemmo takes a 5-foot step back to 55N15E and tries to jolt Greenboar's brain again.

Greenboar moves to 60N20E and attacks again, bouncing off again (rolled 20). Gemmo's sting hits (rolled 23), but the sting goes through foliage, doing no damage.

Greenboar misses again (rolled 14). Gemmo takes a 5-foot step back, disappears, and instantly reappears at 115N115E.

Greenboar runs to 110N110E to corner Gemmo. Gemmo concentrates, Greenboar misses the AoO (rolled 12), and Gemmo disappears again, only to reappear at 0N0E.

The combat is a draw.

Round 209

A humanlike figure with banded mail, light steel shield, and longsword moves to 60N80E. It would appear to be a normal warrior, except it has no face - just red glaring eyes peering from darkness.

The dread guard is a MM II monster. It has 47 hp and Cleave and Power Attack for feats according to the 3.5 conversion.
