LN vs. N: Lawful Neutral Victorious!

A small dragon that appears to be made out of rusty metal flies into the arena to 60N80E20Z and breathes a cone of reddish-brown liquid straight down at the human-like figure. Its armor instantly corrodes to uselessness (Ref save 7), but its shield and longsword remain intact (Ref saves 19 and 14).

So, Gansk, how do you handle this now?

FeO's feats are Improved Initiative and Power Attack. Skills are Escape Artist, Listen, Search, and Spot.

Are you taunting me or asking me a question? If it is the latter, just take away his +6 armor bonus.

The dread guard readies his longsword against a more traditional attack.

(I am not taunting, but isn't the armor the dread guard? "In fact, it is an animated suit of armor, little different from a golem." Does that mean FeO has to destroy the shield and sword, also?)

FeO turns north, flies 15 feet, turns west, flies 15 feet, turns south, flies 15 feet, turns east, flies 15 feet, so ends up at 60N80E20Z again.

Round 211

Let's say that the armor has holes in it that make it useless for protection, but there is still enough to animate. It doesn't say that the dread guard is subject to rust attacks like an iron golem. The iron golem has natural armor and the dread guard doesn't. I'm really starting to hate MMII monsters!

The dread guard sits there like a sucker, ready with its longsword.

"that the armor has holes in it that make it useless for protection"

FeO breathes a line of caustic liquid. Dread guard does not dodge it (Ref save 4), so takes 4 points of damage. Dread guard has 43 HP left.

I am going to time compress, because FeO is mobile enough to be able to breathe at the dread guard quite often.

FeO lands next to dread guard and bites its longsword, which corrodes into flakes.
Dread guard tries to shield bash FeO, but misses.

FeO bites the dread guard's shield, which corrodes into flakes.
DG runs away.

FeO is on the ground at 60N75E.

Let's have him run away. How come he didn't hack with his longsword when the dragon intially landed?

The next monster is from Manual of the Planes, so I will roll for my guy, you roll for yours. I'll trot my guy out after work.

Round 214

A medium-sized, two-headed lizard composed of dark shadow charges to 60N85E. Along with its shadowy barbed tail, each head has shadowy nasty teeth. It stretches its neck out to a surprising 10 foot distance and tries to bite FeO. (Rolled 16+2 for charge = 18)

It does 9 points of damage if it hits.

Ettin-Lizard hits. FeO has 36 HP left.

If E-L does not grab on, FeO will do a withdraw action and fly west and end up at 60N60E20Z, travelling east. FeO will plan on breathing acid at E-L until E-L dies, unless E-L seems to be immune to acid.

Round 215

The lizard has 44 hp and a Ref save of +8. I hope the dragon can maneuver enough to avoid the 10 foot reach. The lizard will ready an attack in case FeO screws up.
