LN vs. N: Lawful Neutral Victorious!

Guthok kills the spider, cleaving to the ant, and continues his barrage of ass-whoopin' on the ant. The betting in the Shearing Pen is minimal with the odds highly in favor (64-1) of Guthok. Continue time compress?

OOC: Although Guthok would not know, you didn't point out the ant's remaining hp (27).

Those odds sound generous to me. Put me down for 20 on Guthok.

Round 446: Guthok misses with claws, but kills the spider with his bite, then swings around and bites the ant (rolled 24) for 18 points of damage. The ant has 9 HP remaining.
The ant hits with all three attacks, for a total of 20. Guthok has 83 HP remaining, but resists the poison.

Round 447: Guthok only hits with one claw, inflicting 7. The ant is at 2 HP.
The ant hits with claw and sting for 12. Guthok is at 71 HP and resists the poison.

Round 448: Guthok misses all three times (best roll 23).
The ant hits with claw and sting for 17. Guthok is at 54 HP and resists the poison.

Round 449: Guthok hits with bite for 8 and finally fells the ant, who is dying. Guthok has 54 HP remaining, and is at 60N40E.

First in round 450: A 12 foot tall mushroom with clubbed hands enters the arena to 60N15E, and shoots a line of spores at Guthok, which hit (rolled 17 ranged touch). Guthok feels peaceful (rolled 12 Will save). Until notified, Guthok can only take a partial action each round, and not attack at all. So, Guthok, what's next?

What do you have for the Formian Taskmaster's AC? At best, it's a 20 from what I see. Did the spider cast some spell on him? Just curious, really. I'm not sure what the slave was.

Guthok will move up to the mushroom and smile at it. A big, toothy, fetid smile.

OOC: The spider cast Mage Armor on each of them. The taskmaster had to take a standard action the second round to lower its spell resistance.

Round 451: The leader slams with one fist, dealing 8. Guthok has 46 HP remaining.

Should I time compress until Guthok can attack?

OOC: Aren't the spores Fort saves? I checked the update and didn't see anything to contradict it. Are you sure Guthok has a pacifier in his mouth? :) Either way, time compression is fine. Guthok will either Destroy Anything That Moves or suck on his pacifier.

Big oops.

OK, so Guthok was unaffected by the spores, which were a mind-affecting agent but needed a Fortitude save. (Plant creatures and I do not get along.) :(

Round 450: Guthok moves up and bites for 13. King Michael has 35 HP remaining.
Round 451: King Mike, hating himself for resorting to violence, swings twice and connects once for 8. Guthok has 46 HP remaining (this attack was already rolled in an earlier post).
Guthok bites and claws twice for 27. King Mike has 8 HP remaining.
Round 452: King Mike clubs for another 8. He sure is consistent. Guthok has 38 HP remaining. Guthok mauls KM for 30. Mushroom puree!

Round 453: A stern-looking humanoid woman with stony skin comes into the arena to 10N30E. Her hair looks like strands of lichen, and her gown looks like it is woven from iron. Guthok feels that she is trying to do something to his little brain, but resists (Will save 22).

Guthok charges to 15N20E and bites Rockette (rolled 27+2=29 for charge) for 16-5=11 points of damage, and grabs on (rolled 31 vs. 23 grapple check), tearing for an additional 14-5=9 points. Rockette has 32 HP remaining.

Round 454: Rockette tries to break free, but fails (25 vs. 38 grapple check).
Guthok bites and tears for 13 more damage. Rockette has 19 HP remaining.

Round 455: Rockette struggles in vain. Guthok bites and tears for 21. Rockette is dying.

Round 456: A humanoid armadillo moves into the arena and does what Rockette should have done. It burrows into the ground, disappearing from view.

After round 460, a draw is declared.

Round 461: A large creature that is part lion and part dragon flies into the arena to 60N40E20Z. It has brassy wings and scales, with a thick mane. It is most likely the most perfect specimen of its kind any of the spectators have ever seen.

Next in round 461 for Neutral is a dire tortoise (Sandstorm). If no one has Sandstorm, the other creature is from the Planar Handbook. Judging from the shearing pen, it looks like Infiniti is going to be the tortoise.

Dire Tortoise? And just when I was starting to think about getting Sandstorm... ;-)
You won't be saying that when the desert devil shows up.

A large, and by large I really mean huge, 25ft-wide hill rumbles into the arena at a 'run' to 55N40E. It does not take advantage of the useless lightning strike. I don't know how tall the dire tortoise is, so I'm not sure if it can reach 20ft up. Unless Mr. Perfect-Specimen decides to come down, I think a time compression is in order. Actually, even Mr. PS does come down, time compression is in order.
