Looking for a monster book recommendation

Well, let's see:
Swashbuckling Adventures monsters and NPCs
Horrors of The Wierd West d20 (I know, but it could still work)
Creatures of Rokugan
Jade Dragons and Hungry Ghoust
Demons and Devils
Demons and Devils 2
Armies of The Abyss
Legions of Hell
Draconic Lore
Denizens of Dread
Everquest

Then their's several campaign or crunchybooks with a good portion of beasties:
Forgotten Realms
Oriental Adventures
Oathbound
Villains
Broncosaurus Rex
Nyambia
Dragons
Evil
Undead
Slayers Guide to Trolls
Slayers Guide to Dragons
Book of Vile Darkness
Manual of The Planes
Waren of the ratmen

Then there are a ton of books with one or two monsters.

The wierd west one is probably pretty good for desert stuff (don't have it just guessing)

Is the everquest monster book out yet? If we talk about forthcoming then there is Penumbra Bestiary as well.

I forgot the whole green ronin run of legions of hell, armies of the abyss and jade dragons and the FFE demons and devils I and II.

Swashbuckling adventures is a monster book? does it have a higher number of monsters than the selection in say Forgotten realms CS (which is pretty limited)?

Well, thanks everyone for the suggestions; I went to the FLGS and looked at a bunch of books... and didn't buy any of them. (Did I mention being a picky bastard?) There were some things in most of them that were interesting but none whose content grabbed me by the throat and yelled BUY ME!!!

Mr Mearls - I did indeed come close to buying the Monster's Handbook but realized that it probably makes more sense to wait until I've actually used more of the critters in the Monster Manual and want to make variations, and also when my player's characters are higher level. I really loved the "Relentless" undead template, and I'm printing out the Magical Beasts chapter. (which was the chapter I was most interested in... and which ironically isn't in the book)
