Looking for advice on Thrid party modules.

What the hell? Try the Serpent Amphora Cycle, by S&SS. The first module is already out and the second one is coming up in a few weeks. Also download the free adventure, so you have some idea what the modules are about.

Yeah, get Of Sound Mind. Very fun adventure anf it can be adapted for most levels up to 5 or 6. I ran the first Freeport adventure, that was alot of fun. Other than that the only 3e module I have experience with is RttToEE, which is a campaign in itself.

Low magic? Good setting? Get the witchfire series. It's the best of steampunk there is. Low to high and in low magic world? That's gonna be rather tough as there is not much out there for high level low magic. Freeport is good, all the SS&S stuff is low magic and downright nasty world to be in (nasty=good).

Want dungeon romp? Then pick up Rappan Atthuk. That will keep your PC's busy for years to come...

"whispering woodwind" from www.creativemountaingames.com has impressed many people on this board.

it has several positive reviews on the reviews site, piratecat plans to steal ideas from it for his work, i love it, and it comes recommended by many others on the boards as well.

look around the whole site while you are there. i believe the pdf is around $6 (!) and there is a lot of free coollness to be had while visiting :)

I was really impressed by this and someday have ever intention of running it. I just need to start DMing again, but I will run it during Ohio Gameday. It's for low levels, but can work in most setting and even lkow or high magical world really easily. It has a bit more role playing then the average adventure, and is not a dungeon crawl which may or may not be a good thing.

The other module that I really like is 3 Days to Kill. It's a little different from the typical adventure being a big party in a city, then an assult of a villa. Veryu well done and it's so easy to expand sections of it. I used it as inspiration for 6 gaming sessions.

I've heard good things about this module as well, though I have yet to pick it up. I'll prolly put it on my X-Mas list.

Lots of Good Suggestions So Far...

I am a big fan of the Witchfire series, but with the requirements you give and the fact that it is going to be on an island, it sounds like the Freeport series is the way to go. If you also get Freeport: City of Adventure, you will have enough material to take them the distance (20th levl and above).

Nature's Fury has two short, but very good adventures.

The Belly of the Beast is a great combat/horror-fest with TONS of roleplaying possible. The RP opportunities are what make the module really - as a straight slugfest its pretty boring.

Speaking of straight slugfests (which have their place) the Rappan Attuk modules are a great (and I mean GREAT) old-style dungeon crawl.

The Banewarrens is probably worth a look (though I haven't played it myself).

Demons & Devils has three short adventures that are nice, if a little high-level.

Whoot! Thanks, everyone! :D

We should be thanking you.

Hell, all I have to do is figure out how to convert the adventure to suit 6th or 7th level characters and I'm springing it on another group in the near future :D

I am DMing Tomb of Abythsor by Necromancer Games for our group here. Dungeon crawl, yes, but with more to it in the ways of subplots and such.

I like it a lot, and my players do, too. 9 levels of dungeon fun (although I have re-drawn the maps) for PCs from 3rd to probably 9th or 10th.

I haven't reviewed it yet for this site as we are currently not but a quarter of the way through it and I want to be sure.
