Looking for core classes.

Since the novels have no core classes, I wasn't really talking about them :) The core classes are pretty good.
Sweet. :)

look it over in he bookstore and see if the classes are something that would appeal to you.
I have no local store. Everything I buy is sight unseen based upon what I think I will like and also what my fellow ENworlders like. :)

Really, if you have Midnight and KoK, you have something that's at least as good or better in regards to core classes, save for the Aes whatever method of spellcasting, which I doubt you're going to use anyway.
Sounds like it will be an intresting read. I'll add it to my list and do a little eBaying for it. :)

The Hamlet of Thumble is 3.5, and has a Witch, a Cavalier, and a Shaman

RPGObjects "Legends of Excalibur" will have a slew of new core classes, Arthurian related, it's 3.5

Mercenaries from AEG is 3.0, and has a ton of them (the whole thing is really like an expanded Player's Handbook)

Sovereign Stone is 3.0, and has several good ones. I use the Stalker, the Noble and the Sailor, among others

Deadlands d20 has several (I use the Gunslinger) (It's also 3.0).

Fading Suns d20 has several (I use a lot of them). Most d20 conversions of games have new core classes (and generally can be used in D&D/d20 pretty easily).

Blood & Space has several (I use the Marine and the Doctor). It's 3.0, and science fiction

Torn Asunder is 3.5, and has the Apothecary class, which I use.

Rokugan has the Samurai and the Ninja. You can't have a game without a ninja. It's 3.0

Mongoose has a whole line of "Power Classes", which are dinky $3, 8 page books, each describing a class. I think I have the first 8. They're decent. (The Noble is largely ripped off from Fading Suns d20).

Unhallowed Halls has the Mystic class, IIRC, but it's not very well balanced.

Occult Lore from Atlas has several magical core classes, most of which are pretty good. It's 3.0.

I'm pretty sure Nyambe, also from Atlas, has new African style core classes

Hmm I keep missing this one... I'll have to get it soon.

This is on my must buy list but I'm waiting for the book. I'm not really a pdf fan but maybe I'll break that rule.

Check. :)

Doesn't really sound D&Dish to me... Wouldn't this be more d20 modern?

I don't have it but I'll look for it. :)

Sounds more like modern than D&D again. :)

Are they decent in general or just decent for the price? :)

Well maybe but it doesn't sound like my type of thing.

Never heard of it but I'll look for it. :)

Oh, I forgot Green Ronin's Master Class series. I own Witch and Shaman, and I love them.
I have the whole series. There all must haves! :) Get The Book of Fiends you won't be disappointed, but you also want the Book of the Righteous and the Unholy Warrior's Handbook to truly love it. :)

the Netbook of class as 4 or 5 core class
I've never heard of this... Is it free? Do you have a link? :)

Everquest RPG players handbook from WW/SSS. Lots of core classes that go to level 30, different magic system.

Complete book of Eldritch Might. 2 core classes, 1 bard with variant magic which I like and a variant sorcerer which is eh.

D&D Diablo. cool variant barbarian, but the paladin is unuseable, the amazon is a bit overpowered, and the sorcerer and necromancer ones are OK. Generally poor supplement but some good things, lots of flexible choices in classes but many powers must be redone.

Nyambe Campaign setting from Atlas games, whole set of new core classes in there for low armor setting.

Warcraft RPG by WW/SSS, I don't have it but it has some new classes.

Quintessential samurai by Mongoose.

Quintessential Witch by Mongoose.

There are a bunch of pdf ones but you have excluded those.

MEG's Hunt Rise of Evil campaign setting has some core classes I believe but the balance wasn't that good for the mechanics from the reviews.

Traps and Treachery by FFG has a thug npc class.

I think FFG's Path of magic has variant spellcaster classes.

I'm sure I'll think of others later.

I don't have it but AEG's swashbuckling adventures has different core classes and a different magic system.

Fading Suns d20 has a variant psionics system and core classes. Haven't seen it.

Beyond Monks, (in print but I believe only the pdf is updated to 3.5) by chainmail bikini and printed by MEG presents a good core class physical oriented monk and plenty of martial arts support.

Encyclopedia arcane chaos magic by Mongoose has a core class caster that does freeform spellcasting with risks. Upcoming revision for 3.5 in Quintessential chaos mage.

Also find any post by Hong and click on his campaign link, he has a fairly flexible martial artist class and a priest class on the web.
