looking for information on [i]devil chills[/i]

i need to clarify something for a monster i'm working on. is the disease devil chills in the DMG? if so, what page? anyone got a brief description of it while i'm not in the presence of the book?

It's in the SRD:

Devil Chills: Barbazu and pit fiends spread it. It takes three, not two, successful saves in a row to recover from devil chills.

Devil chills Injury DC 14 1d4 days incubation 1d4 Str damage

Given what it's spread by, doesn't the DC of the fort save seem a bit low? A DC 14 save should be fairly easy to make by any character by the time they are facing barbazu and pit fiends.
