Looking for reading suggestions" Sword & Sorcery

I turn to my fellow ENWorld folks for some suggestions.

I am in need of some light summer reading.

I love my Frizt Leiber with an abiding passion (have done so since my teen years ... and that is a while ago). I love the rather baroque feel, the gallows humour, the quick action, and the well-drawn characters.

So, what other writers do people enjoy that are somewhat similar to his writings? I am open to almost any suggestions!

I trust you've read the Thieves' World series, edited by Robert Lynn Asprin, the first four or five in particular? If not, that would probably fit the bill for Leiber-esque low magic sword and sorcery. If you're willing to go a little higher up the magic scale (but with the book still featuring the grit of sword and sorcery), you might consider something like Zelazny's Jack of Shadows, and Moorcock's Elric stories (or even the entire Eternal Champion cycle).

Of course, all of those are old, classic titles. Among current writers, you might consider Steven Brust's Vlad Taltos novels, or James Enge's Blood of Ambrose.

Well, actually never read Enge, so there is a possibility there.

And it has been over a decade since I read any Thieves' World; again, not such a terrible option.
