Anyway, take a look at the old PC game, Frontier: Elite 2. You can download a copy of it here.

The game uses real-world physics for all the game mechanics. It has all the local 'real' stars mapped out, and thousands upon thousands of other star systems. Every star system has a 'fictional' planetary system, complete with settlements, space stations, population statistics, economics, politics, etc...

It'd be easy enough to convert it into a Pen and Paper campaign setting.
