Looking for Underdark Adventures...

If your looking for snippets and plot ideas, Monsters of the Endless Dark has some exellent ones. It's a monster book, as the name implies, but each monster entry is loaded with flavor text and has a paragraph's worth of an adventure seed, one for low-, one for mid-, and one for high- level play. It's also a great set of monsters/.

The seminal Underdark adventure, of course, is the 1e D series.

D1 should serve very well for some general UD goodness, if you don't mind doin' some convertin'.

Actually, the new product Fantastic Locations: Fane of the Drow sounds perfect for what you want. It has an enclave of Drow, a Drow shrine, some mithral mines and a tomb complex, all of which could be easily dropped into an ongoing underdark adventure.

It's set up for 4th level PCs, but it'd be absurdly easy to alter it for other levels.

Cheers!

Does anyone know of any Underdark adventures that don't involve drow?

I'd like to run/tweak/design a campaign using the Underdark sourcebook but without the ubiquitous spider-worshippers. My players are sick of them.

("Try the Drow Drow & Umber Hulks, it's only got a little bit of Drow in it.")

Hmmm... Perhaps H1-4?
or Caverns of Thracia?

The "Underdark" was pretty much defined by the D series. If you simply want a dungeon adventure, there are plenty.

Krypter,

You might try using Lords of Madness, build from there. I don't know of any other races besides Drow and Abberations present in most underdark settings. Well besides evil dwarves. :p :)

There are also adventure sites in the FR Underdark book that you could build on. That is, if you have that book, 32.95 is a lot of cash to plunk down just for a few pages.

Yes, I do have the Underdark book (and I like it a lot), but it doesn't have a complete adventure, let alone a campaign. It has a very short mini-adventure in the back. I was looking more for an exploration-travelling adventure that takes the party from one end of the Underdark to the other (specifically, from Araumycos to the Vault of Conjured Madness).

Apart from drow, there are many interesting races and locales in the Underdark. It's too bad the dark elves get all the attention. Duergar, svirfneblin, myconid empires, night demons, slyths, the new Deep Imaskari race, grimlocks, kuo-toa, gloamings, all those are really great adventure material. And that's not even including the other famous underdark creatures like aboleths and mind flayers.

I can make my own adventure, of course, but I would have thought that the hordes of d20 publishers would have filled this niche already.

Araumycos is pretty specific to the Realms, and I'm almost positive there are no published adventures featuring it. You really would be better off writing your own, or if possible taking a published adventure and inserting it in there somehow.
