"Ok ok, I'll tell ya what. Hows about your friend der - da nice one in da white robes, fixes up da boys and we just pretend dat dis never happened OK? Yous can continue on yer way and me and da boys can go on ours".

Thorn growls back at the bound, bearded man. "I don't think you are in any position to make demands. You really only have two options:
1) We leave you tied-up and beaten in this ally. Perhaps in a few hours your boss will find you. He'll realize how badly you've messed-up such a simple job. I'm sure he'll deal out his own justice on your tied bodies. Or, if you're really lucky, some drunken half-orc sailors might find you first...
2) You tell us where we can find your boss and the box you were supposed to deliver. We'll go take care of him for you. Then we'll heal you and let you go - with not a word to anyone. You're lives and reputation will remain intact."

Gloom have been thinking for a moment. Contemplating the sky. He wakes up from his dreams and then kneel down next to Wendel. He put the edge of the blade. "I'll tell you something. My tribe all died a few times ago. I should have died that day too, but I was not. Instead, Lauto walks with me now. Would you like to meet him? He tells me your time may have come, that it is my choice to let you do the travel or not."

Gloom pause a moment before continuing. "I overheard you, Raj, and your friend here, Wendel. He told you the son of Ogglebottoms never showed up, and you told he was stupid enough to show up at the wrong bar. Our presence confirm he was at the right one. Also, he asks you to tell the boss about the son not showing up. So, I'll ask the question only once. Let's start by the questions of my kin here."

A look of terror crosses both Raj and Wendels faces as the shifters approach and begin their questioning. Raj looks over to Wendel "I think we should take the second option" he says, his voice trembling with terror.

Wendel quickly nods his head in agreement, any sense of confidence long gone the sense of self preservation quickly takes over.

"OK I'll tell ya what I know. I was s'posed ta meet Ogglebottoms kid at the Gator and bring 'im back to 'ere. He was bringin da ransom money for box we tooks, but Hraken said to bring 'im back 'ere and we's were goina kindnap 'im. That's all I know I swear." He manages a nervous gulp and motions with his head further down towards the back of the alley.

"Yous can find what yer lookin fer in the storehouse. Da doors are back there."

 

[Velmont]

"Thorn, Gellan, can you go take a look to see if they are lying or not. I hope for them they are not." tells Gloom, keeping his blade at Wendel throat.

 

[Banesfinger]

"If their boss (Harken) is in that storehouse," Thorn looks back at the end of the ally that Wendel indicated, "he might have been alerted by those goblins that escaped from the roof. They might be setting an ambush, no?"

Thorn looks to the storehouse for any obvious windows, or any other way he could take a quick peek into the building.

"Who is in the storehouse? How many men? Do they have the package Ogglebottom wanted to trade for?" asks Gloom to Wendel.

Zharne and Gellan have definately seen that area. The alley ends and widen to the left. On the western wall (assuming that the top of the map is north) are a set of double doors. On either side of the doors you can see chains secured to the walls. Upon inspection they obviously had the dogs chained here guarding the doors.

It is apparent that the 2 that fled did not enter the building through the doors Wendel is pointing out.

Wendel jumps back in shock (or as much as a tied up man can jump back) at Glooms questioning.

"Da storehouse is fer storing da shipments and da like dat Hraken deals wit. Der is probably a half dozen or so of da guys cleanin up da area as Hraken said 'es expectin a new shipment in tomora. Dorin's most likely up der too as 'es da one dat takes care o' dat stuff. Hraken and da others would be downstairs most likely. Oh, and Hraken 'imself has gots Ogglebottoms box"

As Wendel divulges his information to you Raj and a couple of the others are all nodding their heads in agreement with Wendel.
