Covered in blood, Thorn still manages to swing his spear and cause another long gash on the bald man before he runs down the alley.
In a fit of primal rage, Thorn starts to shift and transform into a rabid creature, now more wolf than man. In his rage he launches a vicious assault against the bearded man next to him (Wendel). Had it not been for Minharath's commanding voice, he surely would have missed in his wild rage.
Zharne goes for the legs of his fleeing foe, severely hindering the man with his bite, while sounding like a laughing hyena
Seeing the bald man flee down the alley, Gellan dives and rolls through Wendel's legs, tripping him up as Gellan rises. Wendell falls, cracking his head on the pavement and falling unconscious. Gellan pursues the other human down the alley, circling around him with a snarled, "Going somewhere, friend?" His tan'gat weave in front of him in a hypnotizing pattern.
Zharne closes in on the fleeing man and lands a wicked blow and the man collapses he assumes his elf shape on top the fallen foe.
Gloom shift and finish the dog. "A dog who have taste blood will always seek it again." He then looks at the goblin in the roof. "Flee before we come find you."
Cursing in gnomish, Jehad waves his arms wildly, proscribing large circles and wavy lines in the air, all the while shouting at the goblin on the rooftop. After a moment, he points to the south and slowly turns, as though swinging a giant rope. When he feels he has the goblin's full attention, he turns as though to begin a new random and unexplained motion, and then throws a glob of blue power suddenly, hoping to catch the goblin off-balance.
With a yelp of surprise, the goblin ducks to one side as the bolt zings past. While jeering at Jehad, however, he doesn't notice it loop around for another pass. The goblin shudders in pain as the energy washes over him, tinting a darker color, picking up some of the ruddiness of his skin, and then continues off the rooftop and plumets toward the vicious canine below. The blast slams into the canine but the beast was already dead.
Jehad and Thorn both feel a warm sensation, like that of being by a friendly fire. The feeling is even throughout their body, and comforts extremities that had been complaining about the cold, massaging muscles that had been tightened by the strain of combat. A gentle pressure washes over their bodies, refreshing them and carrying away fatigue. Thorn's wounds seem to be less dangerous than they first seemed, and both adventurers are reminded of warm meals and soft beds (or whatever sort they prefer).
Upon seeing Raj fall the halfling quickly glances across the alley to a set of double door. He then looks back at the prone form of Raj, Zharne now sitting atop, and then back at the doors. Quicker than you'd think possible the halfling throws his sling down to the alley and jumps up and grabs the rain gutter on the rooftop above. Pulling himself up he moves as quickly as possible away from the alley and into the darkness.
Similarly the goblin on the rooftop watches as both Wendel and Raj fall to the ground. He quickly turns and disappears down the other side of the roof. Minharath and Jehad hear a thud as he hits the ground on the far side of the building and hurried footsteps as he runs off into the night.
[sblock=Update]
Alright so unless you want to chase down the halfling or the goblin that pretty much wraps up this first combat. Please excuse the lack of an updated map, but a) I didn't think one was necessary and b) I am ridiculously swamped in RL right now and frankly didn't have the time.
