grumbles Thormir as he directs a flaming claw to the skeleton, attempting to burn it, and pull it closer to the group.

Lorn raises his staff and an invisible missle of force flies over the undead's shoulder. Hesh hefts a javelin and hurls it, but it glances off the railing of the upper deck, clattering off the wood. Thormir conjures a flaming hand to grab the undead. The skeleton dances out of the way of the hand. As the limb burns away, Thormir grimaces, keeping the power in mind.

Xandren charges up the stairs, hit heavy footsteps sounding loud now in the abscence of the melee. He lowers his shoulder and brings his blade into the ribs of the skeleton, sending it crashing easily to the deck.

COMBAT OVER


No resistance remains on the deck. Water splashes around the ship and from the interior. The thatched floor that leads to the hold is the only area left unexplored

OOC: There was the captain's and Eliza's rooms whose exploration was interrupted by the combat(silver box and map room w/ chest).

Guessing what the various implements are for, Stellan begins to steel himself for what is to come. He does his best to count the number of goblins and hobgoblins he sees around the camp, hoping to find an identifying mark or item for each of them. Mostly, he is working to keep his attention away from "Hooks", and whatever the goblin does to psyche him out.

Hesh kicks one the corpses as he heads back. The dead interrupted us. Lets finish the job. He has a look in the woman's room, looking for documents and whatnot before checking "the box".

The bedroom, clearly Eliza's, is in good shape. The bed is made, and several gowns hang from a wooden post in the corner. A couple of borrowed sailor uniforms are also there. The silver box has "d'Lyrandar" etched on the cover. The box itself is relatively lightweight and about the size of a large book. The box is locked.

Mmm ya never know what a mage's personal box might have to protect it. I meself have stumbled on sum nasty trinkets. Better be careful with that. comments Thormir, wary.

Hesh looks at the box. No dog. We'll take the box and search the rest of the ship. He picks up the crate and moves to the captains quarters and searches.
