Yes! Stellan says, grasping at the only hope he can see for their survival. Into the water! He waits until Eliza leads the way, then follows her into the surf, hoping his blood won't attract unwanted attention from its denizens.

[sblock=ooc] Regen 2, then delay. If the goblins don't bring him down, he can shift two squares as a move action, then move as far into the water as possible. [/sblock]

Lorns cries out, sweeping his staff out around him. A peal of thunder echoes around him, blasting the severed limbs into pieces of bloody flesh. The wizard takes heart and blasts again, but to a lesser effect as only one of the grasping limbs is destroyed in his second blast of thunder. The wizard half limps half runs to cover, near Hesh, who gestures him forward.

[sblock=ooc]Lorn hits and kills all three in the first blast. Only hits/kills one in the second blast.[/sblock]

Not enough of the severed limbs are around to impede his movement. Even so, Thormir curses the zombie nearest him with his infernal power. A quick gesture and the creature is wreathed in flames. It moans, stumbles, and falls over the rail, sinking below the waves. Part of it's energy revitalizes the dwarf.

[sblock=ooc]Thormir curses and hits the target(drawing an OA, that hits reflex 15 for 2 damage), killling it, gaining 1 THP.[/sblock]

Meanwhile, on the beach....

The bloodthirsty goblins close to melee once again. Stellan steps back from the thrust of one, but the other catches him on his flank. It wasn't painful but his hope of escaping was failing him. Another tries to circle around through the mud. Eliza tries to swing at the goblin with her fist, but fails to connect. The goblin, caught in mud can't find flesh with it's blade.

The spear chucking goblin is more lucky, it's weapon sinks into the shifter's hip, and Stellan finally goes down in a heap.

[sblock=ooc]M moves in and attack, missing with a 12. Another M hits with a 20. Third M provokes OA from Eliza with movement to Stellan. Eliza misses but so does M. Gob skirmisher(G) attacks with spear, hitting with a 20, knocking Stellan unconscious.[/sblock]

The spiked-armored hobgoblin moves forward. He backhands one of his underlings. "Took you long enough, now get the girl. Her brother will enjoy her mark." Eliza looks up in horror, the words partially sinking in. With all the goblin now focuses on her, she is captured without much effort.

The leader looks to the staff wielding goblin and gestures to the shifter. "He is tough, they picked a good one. Too bad he won't survive the night. The Prophet is wrong once again. Good for us. Make sure he stays alive for now. We'll see what he knows." The shaman treads carefully over to the shifter, binding his wounds as best as he can so he doesn't bleed out.

The goblinoids blindfold and bind their captives to long bamboo poles. They march out into the jungle. No measure to hide their tracks is made.

[sblock=Redclaw]Sorry you had to go down that way. Stick around. I've got some RP and a skill challenge prepared for you.[/sblock]

Hesh comes out of the hold an blinks at the daylight on the deck. Seeing the dwarf in trouble, he rushed out at the nearest... thing and swipes at it with his flail. It smashes heavily into the bugger. He grins at the dwarf. Didn't wait for me for the party to start? For shame, Little One![sblock=Actions]Move to I13. [sblock=Evo] No worries. I had a feeling it would be a bad choice, but I couldn't see Stellan leaving Eliza alone on the wacked out island they'd had so many fights on already. [/sblock]

Hesh moves out into the sunlight again. He swings his double flail over his head and smashes it down on the forearm that continued to move even after it had been detached from it's owner. Blood splatters the dwarf and the hobgoblin, and the thing stops moving. Didn't wait for me for the party to start? For shame, Little One!

The zombie's move over to flank the warlord, meaty fists swing at him. The blows are clumsy and stiff, and Hesh ducks them both.

I noticed you dropped the slow debuff for Thormir, but not Lorn. I just wanted to double check to see if Lorn will be slowed on his coming turn as it may have some bearing on what I choose to do.

[sblock=Oni]You are not slowed this round.[/sblock]

Stellan awakes suddenly, but with caution. He wasn't dead. He was tied to a bamboo pole, held between two goblins, and the goblins hadn't noticed he was conscious yet. They we walking through the jungle, it seemed different than before. More alive, it seemed. Colorful birds sat in the trees. Monkey's chattered above, being stalked by a large python. They passed a colorful bouquet of flowers, it' scent was intoxicating.

Xandren moves around the wheel of the ship. He spins and lands a huge backhand slice against the skeleton. He severs the neck and head of the undead and sends the skull flying to the deck where it spins like a top upon the wood next to Thormir.

The hand next to Thormir "jumps" up and grabs the dwarf's ankle giving it a twist before landing back on the ground once more.

The skeletal archers draw back arrows on their shortbows. With a *twang* they release the projectiles. An arrow hits Thormir in his gut, a second grazes his neck, a spurt of blood darkens his shoulder.

[sblock=ooc]18 vs reflex Thormir takes 2 damage. 2 arrows vs. Thormir. 16 and 24 vs AC. 8 damage.[/sblock]

No longer surrounded by the undead Lorn began to gather his wits and think more clearly. Looking down the length of the ship he realized the archers would pick his companions apart. Taking a deep breath he slipped out of the cover of the cabins and moved across the deck away from the fighting. With a practised eye he gauged the range to his targets and then swept his staff upward engulfing the skeletons in a burst of fire.
