Lost- episode 4- 10-25-06

For me, the fact that each episode leaves me wanting more is not a sign that the show is weak.

For me, that's not the show's weakness. The weakness is things like what's-her-face saying "We are not the enemy, but if you shoot me, that'll change" when:
A) the Others have already killed,
B) the Others have kidnapped, and are currently holding hostages, and
C) she and her armed cohorts are sneaking aboard the boat in the middle of the night to steal it.

I'm not a bully. Now shut up and give me your lunch money.

Now, I'm still enjoying the show. But if there's not some kind of reason that makes me go "Oh! Okay, it all makes sense now.", then someone's gonna get a smack. If Abrams, et al hadn't claimed that it all makes rational sense, no Purgatory, no magic, etc, then I wouldn't expect it. But they did, so I do.

Good freaking God... the show will be off the air for 13 weeks?! Three months?! How in the hell do they think they'll have any viewers left if they do that?

And I still wonder if there isn't another group of Others out there, an insane primitive bunch; the ones they saw in the first season dragging the teddy bear through the jungle... maybe that's who they see on the monitor...

Well, since they revealed that the "civilized" Others had those very costumes hanging in their own lockers, it sure seems unlikely.

I'm not so bothered by the Others claiming "we are not killers" as much as by the losties refusing to challenge it. I mean Jack buried Libby and Ana Lucia just a few days ago!

Is Micheal still on this show? He isn't on the cast line up on the abc web page.

I think this is a better option then 2 weeks of new episodes then 3 weeks off, or just random new episodes like they did last season.

That didn't bother me at all. But I'm looking forward to a three month break. I wonder what cliffhanger they will have for it.

Some in another thread made mention that his name and Walt's are no longer in the credits. It could be they are gone from the show for this first half of the season or just the whole season.

This could be a clever ploy by the producers. If people noticed the actors names in the credits and nothing was being with that actors then one could extrapolate they their characters would comoe back at some point to save them or what not.

I don't think they can do that. The actors guilds or whatever they are called have specific rules about how names are in the credits and whatnot.

What I was implying was that they remove their names now for the episodes they are not in and and put them back in for the ones they are in.
