D&D 4E Lost S04E01 Jan 31 2008

The problem before was the prior actors were not apologetic at first, but insulting to the people of Hawaii. In this case, he is bending over backwards to apologize and be nice to the people of Hawaii. I think you will see a different result because of his differing reaction to the arrest.

Additionally, the women arrested before were driving high speed on a dangerous winding road known for car accidents that result in death. In this case, it sounds like he was drunk driving in the city, and there is no indication of speeding. I think it may be viewed differently because of that.

Your first point is valid, and I hope you are right.

Second point, higher chance of killing themselvs vs. higer chance of hitting a pedestrian or other vehicle.

Can't agree with ya there, but I'm not the producers. ;)

In any case a strong possiblity of grace. That's a good thing.

If one of the promos is to be taken literally, they showed Sayid and Jin when they mentioned that some of the Losties wouldn't get off the island.

I'm betting on Sun, Claire, and Michael as the remaining 3 of the Oceanic Six.

Can't have Michael without Walt. Well, I mean obviously you can. I don't think they'll bring Michael back just to kill him, I also don't think they will seperate him from Walt. So either Walt will return and both will stay or as HoE said both will be part of 'The Six'.

I didn't count them because I really think Sawyer and Claire will get off the island. Which doesn't leave room for both Michael and Walt.

I think Walt may end up a "psychic ghost", so that's why I didn't include him. If Walt dies and Jin dies, I coudl see Michael hooking up with Sun.

Well, Walt dieing isn't needed, but yeah if Jin dies a Michael/Sun thing is almost required.

Hm. Not seeing that at all. Michael was a bastard who betrayed everyone (though they don't know it yet!). I don't see any happy endings for him. Michael may come back, for whatever reason, but Walt won't be with him (the actor playing him is too old now anyhow).

My theory is this: No pre-existing couples will make it back AS COUPLES. So, if Sun makes it back, Jin won't. Sawyer and Kate might make it back, because they didn't start as a couple. It's economy of story: When you've only got six "survivors," you have more stories to tell if none of them began as a couple. Jin's story is tied up with Sun's, so you've only got one story to tell there. Also, I wouldn't bank on a lasting Kate/Sawyer relationship, so there are multiple stories to tell there as well.

Plus, some story lines are pretty well exhausted.

However, I allow for the possibilities that some others may make it back, somehow or another, so I still think that Ben will be back on the mainland, plus whatshername the blonde double agent.

Oh, I'm not saying anything good about Michael at all. He's a POS, no question about it. BUT.

At the same time, really if you think about it, he did exactly what he said he would. His mantra throughout was, 'I'm gonna get my boy off this island. No matter what.' It was the most important thing for him, above all else.

My point was that there was a definite chemistry between the two. It will be interesting to see what happens when Mikey get back.

As for Walt, I seem to recall that he was going to be back at some point. Probably in a flash forward.
