I've heard some reports from the sets, and supposedly Eowyn has some kick-ass action. I'm hoping they pull off the Eowyn deception well, so its a surprise when it needs to be! <purposely vague to avoid spoilers>

The story has it that Peter Jackson had some thoughts about making Arwen more of a battler, but that the backlash from fans convinced him to stick closer to the books.

I'd expect Arwen to accompany Aragorn on the paths of the dead (although curiously, I haven't heard anything about them at all).

you prolly heard by now that the DVD will come out in may (theatrical version) and the directors cut will come out in November (4 DVDs)

My question is:

Who is going to buy the first one? and who will wait for the second one? and who will get them both?
