[lotr] Theatrical release of the EXTENDED editions!!

I heard Two Towers extended is an extra 43 minutes. Thats only about 15 minutes before RoTK. I'm assuming the the RoTK will not be the extended durning the marithon showing, but it would be nice.

Drool...

ohhhh.... so much LotR...

/me closes mouth because now ankle deep in drool. Eew, sticky and wet.

It'd also be great if they did that with Star Wars again when Ep. III comes out... Now that'd be a dream come true...

What, all six? Damn, you'd need a ton of Nytol to stop from falling asleep, given how dark it is and despite the noise.

Sounds cool though, as long as Ep III is better than the last two.

Surely a West End cinema will do that? I'm reckoning that the Odeon in Leicester Square would love to do something like that...I may have to head down there and see if they do...:D

*crosses fingers* I am THERE for that...what a fantastic experience!

Yeah, I know. It'd be an interesting challenge. I tried the original trilogy once. I started falling asleep halfway through ESB. However, this was during this 24-hour music thing at school, and it started at about 9 p.m. Friday until 9 p.m. Saturday, and I started watching ESB in between 4-6 a.m., so go fig. And even if you do go tired watching all six, you could always take a nap during Ep. I and II ;):p.

I also hope that Ep. III is better than the last two, also.

You forget this is all about the extended versions in the theater, so that's at least an extra half hour for both FoTR and tTT.
Hmm... I thought those running times they mentioned were a bit odd. Still, should be enough to make a potty break and go for a new bin of popcorn.

It is the boring one, so add that to the other part I cut out and realized is significant but don't feel like adding back in.

They're showing credits in the middle of the story?

Oh, well. As a backup, I'm bringing a bedpan. :p

You said six hours, which implies two movies and you don't think they'd actually show one of them without the credits do you?

They will be the extended versions so that's still three and a half hours plus, so keep the bedpan handy.
