love the unloveable

Right now, she may not be. But, I didn't say you'd find the person immediately - that which is worth having is worth waiting for.
Gee, I hope can say that in 10 years, when I'm 47.

Nah, I past the threshold 7 years ago. If I'm 47, I should be looking for a second wife (if I had a first wife who may have died early).

Love does not recognize your timetables and deadlines and threshholds.

"It is too late" is, of course, a self-fulfilling prophecy. So long as you think that, it will very likely remain true.

Too true. One of my best friends was sure he was "too old" at 34 and would never find someone.

Through the efforts of another friend, he met someone who was so right for him. They got married last year. Don't give up.
