Even with Con 14, I strongly advice you to take Improved Toughness (CW) as soon as possible (Level 3 latest if you multiclass with 1-4 levels of fighter).
4 Fighter levels give you martial weapon proficiency and enough feats to take weird weapons such as the spiked chain or to specialise in shortswords or daggers.
As a melee monster, head for the Invisible Blade (CW) prestige class.
