Devlin snickered at each of the name ideas. He smiled to himself as he thought of the various names of the many adventure groups that had found great discoveries and advancements in the past. "There are many choices we can make with our name, but it is our actions that will allow it to live in infamy. Something simple may suffice." He rubs his bare chin, smiles and pushes up his glasses further onto his face."Four's Company? The Fellowship of the Four? Devlin and the Adventurers?" he snickered at the last one."I think no matter which name we decide it will be rather amusing."

Devlin then sits back and listens to everyone's ideas.

Once a few others have spoken, takes the opportunity to speak, "I'm pretty easy on the whole group name issue, but you'll have to excuse me if having my name used in full makes me feel a little uneasy. But if anyone else wants to see their name in lights, by all means.

"If any naming technique catches my fancy more than another, it would be a non-sequiter. Something like 'Flaming Reaver and the Unassuming Street Urchin' or some such. Then you get a horrible abbreviation from the need to shorten it into something usable."

He made a polite cough, that was more a throat clearing sound. “Right, quite alright. Yet, I still need a name for the contracts. Can I assume you have no need for a solicitor to check them…”

“Or mayhap you would wish me to recommend a reputable one?”
Something in the merchant’s tone was suggesting that he was like the fox recommending another fox to guard your hen house.

Devlin regarded Charity's observation on the names and thought to himself about his own name being in the lead of the groups name. Shaking his head at the idea he looked up at Hans when he coughed.

"Hmm, as for a solicitor I am not 100% that we do not need one, seeing as I am unsure of what a solicitor does in regards to this sort of thing. As a scientist though, I understand the need of having things written in paper. By the way good sir, what would you suggest for us in regards to name. You seem to have an idea of what is reputable and such."

When the discussion turns to talk of having a solicitor look over the contract, her expression becomes just a tad more vapid even than her squeal would suggest. "I'm afraid I don't know any 'solicitors.' Why would we need one, exactly? Let's just have a look at the contract and see what we can see, hey?"

"Yes, Four's Company will be fine," Charity begins, absentmindedly twirling a stray strand of hair around her finger. "I'm not sure we want to have anyone else name us. A prankish mind might have us bearing the name of the local brothel or some other poor choice, even if it sounds reasonable on the surface. Hans shrugged as you declined the use of a solicitor and he brought out a think stack of parchment documents.

“So, that is Four's Company then.”

“Let me just put that here.... and here... and here...”


With his inkpen he started filling in your group's name on several blanks in the contracts he was drawing up. There appeared to be several pages to the document. As he was writing in your group's name, he handed over the first few sheets after blowing on the ink first to help it dry quicker.

Sure enough the contracts were an agreement to hire your services to help liberate the Island Kingdom of Yarendel from the eternal winter that had befallen it. It started listing in detail the provisions of the agreement in very verbose language that actually made it harder to understand (roll Intelligence Check).
