Staying on the “bleeding edge” of computer technology and gaming development, Louis Porter Jr. Design and its gaming imprints; Devil’s Workshop and Chaos Factory; has created the all-new podcast show, the RPG Publishing Gauntlet.
The RPG Publishing Gauntlet is a regular series hosted and produced by Louis Porter, Jr. to help those new and upcoming RPG gaming companies learn what it takes to become a success in the RPG industry. In addition, the RPG Publishing Gauntlet will also cover all the news, secrets and information of Louis Porter Jr. Design and its several business imprints.
“The RPG Publishing Gauntlet is built out of the changes suggested by the award-winning, New York Times Bestselling, game designer, computer game designer and author, Michael A. Stackpole. After reading the Winning Edge column in the August edition of Comic & Gaming Retailer magazine, I knew the time was right for a project like this,” commented Louis Porter Jr. owner of Louis Porter Jr. Design. “As Stackpole states in the article, podcasting pitches directly to the RPG gamer demographic. This is the future of information delivery to the fans of our products and those interested in starting their own gaming companies. This is something that had to be done and I felt no one else was going to do it the way I thought it need to be done. And with I became a podministrator, and the rest is history. The one thing that is interesting about doing a show like this is it give me a chance to spotlight small PDF publishers who may be doing great work but not many gamers know about them. Plus the RPG Publishing Gauntlet gives these companies a place where they can advertise their products for a reasonable price and get the exposure they need and want.”
