So I'm understandingt that they used 531 livery so it wouldn't be immediately obvious that it was a 310 caravan from just looking at it (contrarely to ours, which DOES have 310 livery on)? Is that about correct?

Yeah (I think I might have messed up in something Elder Dunesage said when he mentioned the numbered markings on the vehicles).

The idea was that with the first caravan they had time to research which locals were moves and trucks were available (with their original markings) then had enough time to to purchase, borrow them, and/or bribe people. However with your caravan, there wasn't enough time to make the same arrangements so they figured that since the Union already knew, why not use the opportunity to make a political statement.

It should be noted that even if Brian is in the Balloon when JKason returns, his perception ranged ice/nuke powers can still aid you as long as he has a spyglass or a high tech gizmo with range finding capabilities capable of seeing the raider camp from a distance

Isn't that already built into the dirigible?

Brian's beginning to suspect that Seif actually has some level of mutation going on, was all I meant, since the crazy nimbleness of it is, in Brian's limited experience, something he wouldn't expect someone to be able to do with such ease.

That doesn't mean he is a mutant, or that he's even doing more than having wishful thinking, but with all the suspicion in Brian's direction since his abilities were out in the open, he's sort of developing an agenda for trying to figure a way out of the crosshairs. Whether it's a good strategy is certainly questionabl.



On travelling, I fly out tomorrow early morning, fly back Thursday mid-afternoon. I don't know what kind of access I'll have. Just keeping folk in the loop.

Kind of ironic that his Skill Mastery has nothing to do with his mutantness then. On the other hand, the thought of an entire tribe of Seifs is a bit terrifying, isn't it?

Not that I'm recommending Brian stay in the dirigible or anything, but with that level of Extended Sight, wouldn't Brian have the same Notice penalty at 5 miles as an unaided person at 30 feet?

Uh, is it just me or is Deezy's report missing the rather large bit about Slaughter Town and the competition that is to occur there? Is this an IC omission, [MENTION=4936]Shayuri[/MENTION]? Maybe [MENTION=42169]Relique du Madde[/MENTION] would permit some sort of an Int roll in either case?

If Shayuri wants he can. However, those bits of information were not intended to only be released in one radio blast that may have easily been overlooked.

That was just a preview of something you were to discover (as a result of Seif's previously established method of information gathering. ;D ) or during the aftermath of the assault.
