Brian's generally a 'snipe from hiding' kind of character, so I don't imagine he'd be moving forward until he got an all clear call. He's especially gun-shy about making tactical errors since Seif's learned about his abilities and thus begun watching him as if he'll spontaneously combust at any moment.

So, that's a 'not advancing,' I suppose.
