I'l take a short moment here to post a quick synopsis of the available characters, as well as the basic idea behind the game (in case it is not yet apparent).
The War of Martian Aggression is a PL7 Mutants and Masterminds game based around the aftermath of the Battle of the Piedmont, during the U.S. Civil War. As the title suggests, Martians invade the earth shortly after this battle. The PCs, a team of victorious Union soldiers and Confederate prisoners, must locate a retreating confederate army to try to fight back the Martian hordes.
PC's include:
Kingfisher, a Union Lieutenant, a whiz with his pistols (Old One)
Swede, an immigrant Union soldier, an incredibly strong (and reasonably stupid) giant
The Kid, a young Union soldier, with more than a few tricks up his sleaves
Doc, a female Union doctor, the resident expert on Martian anatomy
Leghorn, a Confederate captain, a swordsman known for his personal honor (FickleGM)
Fink, a Confederate soldier, an ill-tempered cajun bayou knife-fighter (RWickett)
Drone, a malfunctioning alien combat robot, resourceful but...different. (JCrichton)
