[M&M] Astral Projection

Astral Projection says that when you use it, you are invisible incorporeal, and immune to physical damage. However, the description of the incorporeal power says that you must be susceptible to 1 form of physical attack. Does that apply to astral projection as well? Further, what exactly qualifies as physical? Can I still be affected by energy attacks?

Nope. Your astral form, while incorporeal, exists on the astral plane looking into the real world. The only weakness is any mind-affecting or mental attack. A person using Incorporeal super-power still exist in the real world but have displaced his cells' atomic structure so far apart that it allows him to pass through other matters, similar to Kitty Pryde/Ariel/Shadowcat on the X-Men.

They errata'ed that statement. This is what the errata stated regarding Incorporeal...
In the last sentence of the first paragraph change “attack (melee attack, ranged attack, Energy Blast, etc.)” to “effect (such as unarmed attacks, iron weapons, a specific type of energy, etc.)”

Go to: www.MutantsAndMasterminds.com and download the errata and FAQ.

one minor quibble.

that's one possible rationale for the Incorporeal power; i'm sure there's about a bazillion more out there.

Well, what do you think, bwgwl? If you think the mechanic is broken, then what would you do to correct it without making it too powerful?
