I happened to catch most of a show on the KKK on the History channel last night, and thought of this thread. It's actually very interesting how they managed to cloak themselves in respectability without bending on their white supremacy. They used a bastardized version of Christianity, patriotism, and links to other issues such as prohibition to make themselves palatable to the masses.
I can easily see a hero who carries a Bible in one hand, an American flag in the other, and who sincerely claims that whites are the chosen race of God, and the rightful owners of America. He not only speaks out against the "evils" of Judaism, Catholicism, and mixed races, but also against gambling, drinking, prostitution, pornography, and everything else the "moral majority" hates. It could be interesting to have the players openly welcome a new ally in their fight against organized crime, and publicly declare their friendship with this latest hero. Then, be horrified when they see their new friend on TV calmly talking about sending all blacks back to Africa.
