Sahid reappears from the white nothingness of the mist to strike again, but once again, he misses. He then disappears in the mist, like a poltergeist.

Sahid attacks, misses then vanishes again.

Brain focuses on a Wasteland Ghost causing a layer of ice to form on Wasteland Ghost 6....
WG 6 tough: 5 vs 20 --> Critical Failure!
... and ends up freezing the mutant solid.

The mutants were too close, too... familiar, much too familiar: their breath, their teeth, the details of their skin. It brought back memories he would rather had stayed buried. Seif's grip on his swords grew slick with fear-sweat even as he danced through his two opponents, slashing left, carving right.

He screamed back at the beasts, trying to scare away his fear!

OOC: Oops. Just remembered Dervish Strike is an area effect power, so no to hit roll required. Corrected in the post above and sorry about that.

Deezy is up next.
 

Deezy mutters something that's probably a curse and pulls the Beast's ponderous body around to track the fiendishly quick little mutants. The gyrocannon stutters again, the sharp staccato cracks echoing eerily from the distant mesas and dunes.

(OOC - Sheesh. Remind me to buy more attack skill, or some targeting upgrades. :))
 

Seif unleashes a Dervish Strike on wasteland ghosts 1 and 4...

OOC: Wastland Ghost 5 is just outside of your attack range.
WG 1 Ref : 19 vs 16 --> Success, 1/2 Damage
WG 1 Tough: 7 vs 18 --> Fail, Stunned + Bruised
WG 4 Ref: 11 vs 16 --> Fail

... and hits both of the mutants. Slicing both, and stunning one of them.

OOC: Thus concludes my tablet test... and boy, the palm of my hands are killing me.

I suspect that using this tablet to for convenient pdf or word doc access would be more beneficial then flipping back and forth between an adobe window, word document, and a browser window. But even then, thats no different then pulling out a book.

The only uninjured Ghost finds itself quickly covered in a thick, painfully cold frost as Brian continues to seek cover amid the mist and the ruins, finding what he's sure is the perfect vantage point from which to attack undetected...

OOC: Flash Freeze on WG 5. DC 20 [cold].
 

Ice begins to form on WG 5's exposed flesh...

... however the mutant seems to shrug off the ice.
