M1: Just a Treasure Hunt?? (Bront Judging)

Corran to divination tells you the schema or something similar is in the chest.

Gennithar the books are mostly written in giant. There a few written in a dialect of elven that is different from what you know, but you still are able to make out most of it. There are three large bookshelves. One is dedicated to giant hisory. One is dedicated to crafting various items (from basket weaving to shipmaking to Weapons and armor smithing and so on). And the thrid is fille with journals from various giants talking about their relationships to the dragons.

The Wizard's face is as animated as any of the group, save perhaps Corran, has ever seen. Genithar fairly bounces up and down in glee, gushing, 'These findings are amazing! Inside these tomes may be answers to centuries worth of scholarly pursuits! Be wary of any traps now."

With that, the elf begins to carefully inspect the titles, taking 2 tomes from each shelf; trying to find anything on both early and late giant history, then moving to the next and grasping a tome each of mundane & martial crafting, and finally taking two random journals; one that seems to be in good condition and another that seems older than the rest.

ooc; not sure if these tomes have any effect on the in-game stuff, but they're important to Genithar, so he's taking them anyway.

OOC: The tomes are really for other GMs in LEB to use as plot hooks. Mybe I will come up with something on maybe someone else can use them.

ooc: ??? okay, not sure what that means exactly....but regardless, Genithar will take 6 tomes, 2 from each shelf. Awesome addition!
OOC: Means he doesn't have a specific plan for them, but some other nefarious DM might later... BWA HAHA!

After collecting the tomes that most interest him, Genithar turns his attention to the chest, calling out to the group, 'Do any of you have any exp with booby traps?'

ooc; can i get a description of the chest please? also, i realized something that doesn't exactly help me out, but seems reasonable: shouldn't tomes written by giants be giant sized? Let me know what SIZE the tomes are and if any are bigger or smaller than the others. Genithar will then decide on which tomes he's attempting to take, if any. thanks mel, great game!
