Somac: Male Human Bbn1

"Tor, hold them! I'm coming up behind you!"

Somac slings his bow over his shoulder, and begins to climb up the crumbling wall to join Tor in his fight. Feeling encouraged by his success with his bow today, he can't wait to unleash his mighty sword on the evil creatures.

Somac manages to climb up behind Tor, who sheilds him from the goblinoids who would otherwise attack him at his vunerable moment. It was a tough climb, and Somac appreciates his prior climbing experience.

Irene, with no more opponents in sight, delays. Tenebryn, with a burst of climbing speed, surmounts the south wall next to Charlyn, just before the goblins attack. Nurlan climbs up right behind him, unable to surmount the parapet until Charlyn or Tenebryn move further onto it.

Tor avoids the goblin's scimitar, but sadly, before he can take advantage of his Somac's presense, he ducks when he should have weaved, taking the hobgoblin's battleaxe squarely in the head (crit x3: 19 pts dmg), and drops to the stony floor.

On the South wall, Charlyn is able to avoid another goblin scimitar, step onto the parapet, and ready his sheild. Next to him, Tenebryn is assaulted by a goblin and another axe-weilding hobgoblin. The lithe elf avoids the blows.

Rinaldo, seeing the south wall is becoming conjested, instead follows Somac up the east wall, but again makes little headway.

Charlarn of Phyrah: Male human cleric 2

The cleric hears the sickening thump of Tor hitting the deck. He turns, but realizes he can't do anything now. "Tor!,"he shouts. Spinning back toward the goblin, Charlarn draws his weapon (move action) and swings (standard action; Atk +2, Dmg 1d8+1).

Seeing how the wall is getting crowded, Irene checks out the room she's in for any possible exits, so she can get back into the fight from another angle.

Ashnar looks towards the direction of the drawbridge for any signs of activity, then tries to get up again.

Somac: Male Human Bbn1

"Tor needs help!"

Somac struggles momentarily to decide what to do. Should he try to push Tor out of the way? What if he tumbles down off the wall and is hurt even worse? He decides that the best thing he can do is to draw the ire of the goblinoids. Perhaps if they focus on him, they'll forget about Tor until help arrives.

Somac flies into a rage, draws his greatsword, and hacks at the hobgoblin.

OOC: Enters rage as a free action (1st of 7 rounds, Str 19 and +4, Con 18 and +4, Will save +2, AC 13, hp 16, current hp 15). Draws greatsword as move action. Attack, with rage but before Nurlan's bard effects, is Greatsword +5 melee, 2d6+5, 19-20/x2.

Round 9

Round 9

Somac goes into a rage. Stepping forward towards the goblin who struck down his companion, he whirls his greatsword, catching the creature in the neck, and sending its head flying onto the roof below. It's body crumples.

Irene sees a doorway out of the room. She hops down and trots over to the open doorway. She sees a 30 foot long passage, which leads into a large room. The light is dim, but she can see faded tapestries on the walls, and some furniture. There are two doors on the west side of the passage, and one on the east. She can hear shouting and it seems to be coming from the direction of the large room.

Ashnar, having pulled himself out of the water, glances towards the drawbridge, which he can see in the fading light. There appears to be no one coming or going. He manages to clamber up the slope about 8 feet this time.

Tenebryn whips his staff off his back and delivers a stout blow to the hobgoblin facing him. The blow lands squarly on the creatures head, and it staggers, then falls to the stone. Nurlan is able to move up on the parapet and ready his weapon.

The two goblins on the South wall both miss, as they strike at Charlyn and Tenebryn. Several others can be seen charing at them, screaming goblin war cries.

On the East wall, two goblins attack Somac, and a third runs up behind them. One of them clips him in the ribs (2 pts dmg).

Charlyn pulls out his morningstar and swings at the goblin, but it dodges.

Rinaldo clambers up the steep rubble behind Somac, but finds he would come up right on a goblin if he continues the next few feet.

Tenebrynn continues swinging, concentrating his attacks on the goblins in front of him.

(ooc: I'm back, sort of. will still be slow posting. Thanks Orsal for posting for Tenebrynn. is that a bugbear or something (b5) standing next to Tenebrynn?)
