Somac: Male Human Barbarian 1

Somac's eyes widen in wonder as the party enters the armory. He has never seen this many good weapons in one place before. He admires several of the weapons, turning them over slowly in his meaty hands and admiring the way the light glints on their edges. He picks up a glaive and hefts it in his hands. The weight of the object makes his ropy muscles feel alive. He carefully takes a couple of practice swings with it. His heart leaps at the slow wooosh! wooosh! sounds it makes on its deadly glide through the air. He replaces his greatsword in its scabbard, and takes the glaive with him. On the way out, he grabs 8 arrows, bringing his total back to 40.

When the party takes the items from the bugbear, Somac is doubly impressed with its armor. I could use that, he thinks to himself. I am skilled in several activities that are hampered by my crude hide armor. In armor like that I could truly show what I am made of!

Somac works up the nerve to speak out loud for the armor: “If none of my new friends can find use for this armor, I will gladly take it and shed this lowly hide I wear.”

OOC: If there is a composite longbow (Str rating +2) available in the armory, Somac will also take that, leaving his shortbow behind. Please let me know, and I will update my character sheet with all the new info.
Glaive +3 1d10+3 x3 (reach weapon) 10lbs.

"Go right ahead, Somac. It'll look good on you."

The party's lack of theiving skills make their crude lock picking ineffective.
"Should we try to break down the door or look for another way into the lower depths?"

ooc: Somac and Tor both want the bow, any other takers? Anyone with archery feats, maybe? If not, shall Tor take it since Somac got the armor?

OOC: Tor, you can have it. A few posts back Manzanita described that some composite bows were available. I thought maybe I would take one appropriate for my strength score, if available, but I certainly wasn't trying to take the special one found on the bugbear. Sorry for the confusion.

OOC: Lack of thieving skills? And what am I suppose to be ? :\ Did you forgot me or did I really rolled bad (I have +7 and some mw tools...)? I'll guess the first...

"Calm down friend, I don't want to see your arm harmed when I can use a trick my cousin teach me. He used to say it is always good to know more than one way to open a container... you never know when you'll lose the key."

He takes his backpack and get out of it some lock pick. He looks at the lock and take one instrument and start to play with the lock.

Sorry, Velmont, a little bit of both there.

Rinaldo, after a bit of testing and tinkering, manages to dislodge the bar. Behind the door is a narrow stairway curving to your right, and leading down. It is only about 5 feet wide, and completely dark inside.

Go ahead & add those two MW items to your CS, you barbarians! ;)

"We'll have to go single file. Anyone have particularly good vision in the dark, a free hand for a torch, or a magical light?"
