M3: Assassin's Knot (Patlin judging)

The group eats and chats a bit. Abraham informs Tenebrynn that he's heading over to see the play as well, and has invited his friend Martin the Green. He introduces the elf to the bearded, green robed man. After dinner, the group heads for the theater. Martin and Abraham walk over with the group.

Everyone finds seats for the show. Everyone's act is a bit different from yesterday, but in the same genre. Willis and Phyllis stick with illusions and tricks. Balmorrow plays some songs, sings and tells some jokes between other acts. Nurlan and Mordik do their thing. (elaborate if you wish).

The show draws to a close. It was very entertaining.

Rinaldo find himself lost in his thought at a moment, thinking that Salvador, his older son, would have liked to see that show. He looks around and try to find who is in the room watching the show.

OOC: Is Wilfong here among others?

Nurlan's act is pretty straightforward singing. It's his usual mix -- some epic, some lyrical, emphasis on songs about great heroes, but with a few lighthearted and comical songs and the occasional love song tossed in. He sticks to songs in the language of humans tonight, and sometimes prefaces them with a short explanation of where he learned the song or from whom. The only piece in this set with a substantial theatrical component is a song about a bounty hunter who used to capture his quarry with a lasso. Mordik, from the side, throws a lasso around Nurlan at one point in the song, and then acts like he's hauling the singer in (really Nurlan shuffling along the stage).

Nurlan's perform check: 17

OOC: Rinaldo watch to spot the people who will be leaving after the show. If he spot Wilbur among him, he will follow him under the appearance of Wilfong, if not, he will take the appearance of one of the person who was in the room and left and enter the backstage.

Wilbur is a stagehand, and will stay after the show to clean up. Rinaldo lingers and sees him putting away chairs and sweeping the floors. The rest of the audience is leaving.

Balmorrow calls Nurland and Mordik into his office as the audience is leaving and the stage hands clean up. "You two are doing a great job, and I want you to stay around a little longer. People are interested. I'm giving you a raise to 2 gps per performance. And if we have a good audience all week, I'll throw in a bit more. Thanks."

Mordik nods and smiles, while attempting to straighten his beard. This is probably the last place he'd expected to be while on his first job, working onstage in an act. [smallcaps]Tha's good to hear. Whatcha think, Nurlan?[/smallcaps]

Rinaldo, once in a quiet corner, will take the appearance of someone who was at the show and that had left. He will then try to go on stage, wandering a bit in search of Nurlan and other artist to congratulate them for the good show, always having an eye on Wilbur. If Wilbur leave, he will try to follow him.
