Magic bow + magic arrow headache!

Let's say an archer has a +1 longbow and a +1 arrow... What's his bonus to hit? What's his bonus to damage?

I have some troubles understanding which bonus applies to what, not knowing if the bonus stack or not... Please help ;)

The bonuses on magic ammunition and magic launchers stack. So your +1 bow (+1 to hit and damage) with +1 arrows (+1 to hit and damage) will have a total of +2 to hit and +2 to damage. However, only the bonus on the ammunition itself is used when overcoming DR, since it is actually striking the enemy.

The bonuses stack.

So effectively, there's a +2 to hit, and a +2 to damage.

However, for purposes of breaking Damage Reduction, only the Arrow (or other projectile, such as crossbow bolt, etc) applies as that is the part that is actually hitting the target.
