I think it was just last week that the news was the show is dead. Now it's got a new showrunner? Even if it does see the light of day, I wonder how it will shape up?

Like @Meech17, I saw something last week that said the show was dead. So being a revenant show absolutely makes sense!

I'm still waiting for Terry Matalas to be announced for as the showrunner for Star Trek: Legacy, the spin-off of Picard, that everyone including Kurtzman wants to happen, but knows it won't happen for a while because of Paramounts' financial problems.
