Manual of the Planes and Epic Levels

Well, that depends if the DM is silly enough to allow those various overpowered PrCs that have full caster level advancement and a flurry of powerful abilities... (grumble grumble...)

The Cleric PrC never seem quite so overpowered IMO, as the Planar Champion.
Full BAB, two good saves, and execllent abilities always did seem a bit over the top to me. The divine agent's abilities never seemed to reach out and grab me... apart from the added Domain at (?) 2nd (??) level.

I think I should be clear in saying that I don't think the planeshifter is underpowered (rather, classes which do allow 10/10 levels plus ability are overpowered), but do find the divine agent a little weak. The planar champion is another matter...

Ok, I have Manual of the Planes now...but I can't decide between the Contemplative from DoTF and Divine Agent from MoTP...

I'm leaning towards Contemplative...

Are you talking about the Planar Champion or the Ranger?

As I move my Cleric of Boccob into Epic Levels, are there any Prestige Classes from the Manual of the Planes that I might want to consider?

I don't have access to it currently, but I could get access to it if there was something in there that might prove beneficial to me. But basically I am just not familiar at all with the contents.

Anything I might want to check out?

Cedric

Well, while you don't get to advance as your existing spellcaster level, you can also get some really cool stuff if you are a GateCrasher, like: Analyze/Open/Scramble Portal, Comprehension, bonus languages, summon spell/planar dampening, planar survival, damage reduction, and plane shift

On a side note, does anyone know of any good Epic Prestige Classes sources other than the Epic Level Handbook. I don't mean Epic Extensions of regular Prestige Classes, but just pure Epic Prestige Classes (if that isn't confusing enough).

I think there may have been some from Dragon magazine...but I don't have the past several issues.

I found the perfect Epic Prestige Class...

The Master Arcane Artisan at that link is the perfect epic prestige class...only I don't qualify, because I am not able to cast 6th level Arcane spells. (Of course, I could mimic them with Miracle, and I can read scrolls of 6th level Arcane spells).

I'm going to ask my GM if he'll let it fly anyway...
