Manyshot

Thanks for answers.

If we're talking about Scout:
can I combine Scout Skirmish ability (30 ft.), Manyshot feat and Ready Shot (15 ft.) from "Heroes of the Battle"?
The Skirmish ability is precision based damage, similar to sneak attack... which with volleys, only applies to the 1st of the volley attack.

Not sure if anyone mentioned this but, since Manyshot is a Standard Action, you can use it as a Readied Action (use it to disrupt those pesky casters).

Unless you have greater manyshot.

Next question (Maybe He-Whose-Posts-May-Not-Be-Counted will let you answer this one): The Scout, from Complete Adventurer gets the Skirmish ability: extra damage when they move ten+ feet. If they move, don't they forfiet their full attack? Do they really have to choose between more damage and more attacks? When does this become an effective strategy?

Let's not forget that Tumble lets you move ten feet as a five-foot step, too.

The Scout class synergizes very well with the Dervish prestige class, since the Dervish class ability allows you to take a full attack action while moving.

As official as the scout and the Ready Shot feat. Official has lkittle meaning.

Scout is something I can use in an RPGA game, the "Oriental Adventures" and the "Ready Shot" are not (at least not yet). So they aren't official, from my point of view.

I doubt that optional uses for skills from OA are used in most campaigns in any case.
