May he be bathed in the light of Hnálla, may he have a home with Belkhánu in the Paradises of Teretané, may he enjoy viewing the games of Karakán, may he have access to the libraries of Thúmis and the secrets of Ksárul, may he be comforted by Avánthe herself, and may he have the chance to sample the pleasures of Dlamélish. And may he never feel the touch of the darkness of Hrü’ü, the fires of Vimúhla, or decay of Sárku.

Rest in peace, Professor Barker. You not only did much for our hobby but your academic efforts has perhaps helped people in different parts of our world better understand each other.

There are few of the early pioneers of our hobby left. Let us thank those who are still with us and both remember and honor those who are no longer with us.
