March '09: What are you reading?

Picked up [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Jonathan-Strange-Mr-Norrell-Novel/dp/B000ENWIJO/ref=pd_bbs_sr_2?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1236605066&sr=8-2"]Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norell[/ame] the other day based on a recommendation on io9.com. I know nothing about it and I'm only about 10 pages in so far, but I like the writing style so far.

Rereading a whole bunch of Years Best SF #---. No time to go to the library and no money to go to the store. Also Theory in Landscape Architecture and Trees in the Urban Eden.

Nothing, unfortunately. (Though I have been keeping up with the Star Trek movie prequel comics - but that's 10 minutes of time each issue.)

I'm about 2 or 3 books behind on Brust's Dragaera series, so I may go back and start reading them from the beginning. That's a long-term project for sure, though.

I recently ordered "The digging-est dog" and I'm wating for it to arrive. This was my favorite book, bar none, as a kid. Really looking forward reading it again, for the first time in about 20 years.

As for right now I'm reading theory of computation books.

I finished Superman: Red Son last night. The plot twist at thend is too frickin' cool. This has become my favorite graphic novel of all time.

I received Monte Cook's Collected Book of Experimental Might in the mail earlier, so that's going to be my next read.

Needed to kill some time this weekend and did so with [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Kon-Tiki-Across-Pacific-Thor-Heyerdahl/dp/0671726528/ref=pd_bbs_2?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1237122728&sr=8-2"]Kon-Tiki[/ame] by Thor Heyerdahl. Great, quick read.

  • Manual of the Planes [4e]
  • Forgotten Temple of Tharzidun [strange but interest]
  • Sep's Story Hour [he updated recently] :D
  • Heroes of High Favor: Half-Orcs [from Bad Axe Games]
