In the NCAA I'm just pulling for the Big Ten Teams. So far the Badgers and Illini have won; Michigian State, Purdue, and Indina need to win today!!

The radio stations I work for are an affiliate station of the Jayhawk Network (KZRD 93.9, Dodge City, KS)... so the farther the 'hawks go in the tournament, the more hours I work and the fatter my paycheck.

I love these guys; now if only the Kansas City Royals didn't suck so bad. Baseball season's right around the corner...

Yes, they must play #1 in round 2. Never before in the history of the tournament has #16 defeated #1.

It's never happened in the men's tournament, but it did happen once in the women't tournament; Harvard knocked off a #1 seed a few years ago, thanks to a combination of being seeded too low (they should have been about a 12 that year) and a lot of injuries on the part of the #1 seed.

Sweet 16 already, and getting to the round of 8 shouldn't be difficult (playing a #10 seed all of two and a half hours from home is pretty much a free pass to the next round).

Careful will that. I am all for an all-Big East Final Four, being a UConn fan. But recall that just yesterday Florida, a number 2 seed, got wrecked playing in their home state. So no round should be easy from here on out for any of the teams.
