I'm reading John Dies @ the End and it is a very odd and strange book. I'm not sure if I need a lobotomy to comprehend what is going on in in but it couldn't hurt.

Fellowship of the Ring. I've started and stopped LotR many times before. This time it's actually sticking. Though, I think I'm finding that I like the idea of Tolkien's writing far more than the reality of it. =/

As of yesterday, I gave up on reading the first two Pathfinder novels ("[ame="http://www.amazon.com/Prince-Wolves-Pathfinder-Tales-Gross/dp/1601252870"]Prince of Wolves[/ame]" and "[ame="http://www.amazon.com/Winter-Witch-Pathfinder-Elaine-Cunningham/dp/1601252862"]Winter Witch[/ame]") about half way through or so.

I "wanted to like" these two novels, but I found them kinda boring after awhile.

I probably won't be picking up any Pathfinder novels in the future.

Just about done with The Dragon Reborn, book three in The Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan. Then I'll be moving on to book four, The Shadow Rising.

Brandon Sanderson's Warbreaker, which I've had since Christmas of 2009 but hadn't read yet because it's a dead tree copy and I've mostly been reading on my Kindle since I got it (a few months later), other than re-reading The Wheel of Time.

I'm reading some older Stephen King. Finished Needful Things, on It, will try to once again to finish The Stand after It. The first too I loved when I first read them although this time around, while enjoyable, they aren't quite so gripping (Although even at the time, the ending of It seemed quite, the rest of the ride was a lot of fun.)

Why Stephen King? Well, see, I got this Kindle for Christmas and some gift cards. Among science and history books and a certain amount of fiction, it seemed like a fun idea at the time to load up on some old S Kings I used to like :)

I think that's the book I stopped reading Wheel of Time. When the story is only advanced on the final twelve pages in a 1000 page novel, you know something's wrong.

I currently fear the experience might be repeated with the 'Song of Ice and Fire'. I'm 250 pages into the second installment 'A Clash of Kings' and have a feeling the story is going nowhere at all. I _knew_ I should have waited if the author actually got around to finish the damn series.
