Who's Laeral Silverhand? She's a prolific creator of magic items from Waterdeep, and one of the most powerful wizards in the Forgotten Realms. She's one of the Seven Sisters, introduced in 1987's Forgotten Realms boxed set, although Laeral herself wasn't described in that product. Ed Greenwood'sThe Seven Sisters supplement fully detailed them in 1995. Laeral and Khlben 'Blackstaff' Arunsun led a group called the Moonstars. In 5th edition, she appears in Waterdeep: Dragon Heist.

That new ampersand on Facebook tells me that we were right in our earlier guess about a product coming in 2020.

Time to dust off my pre FR: LSEK dice theory.

It's a Planescape/Planeshift book from the perpective of a Planeswalking Gnome Artificer from Eberron trying to explain all the wierd stuff she has seen outside of Eberron's Crystal Sphere.

In the Ampersand you see a cog suggesting Eberron and Artificers, but under it you see something that suggests the great wheel of Planescape. It's no FRCG style product, but it might be interesting ofter all. I hope so.

Gaming is fun, and fun is for everyone

Yeah I'm thinking it's Eberron related. However as the Twitter poster says, it may just be the Facebook team playing catch-up to the last release (they also switched their banner to promote Rising from the Last War).

Let's say for fun's sake however that it is Eberron related... it could still be the Welch book, just all the modules are set in Eberron.

The social media change is likely not related to the book. Facebook did update the profile image to the cog, but what people are missing is they also updated their banner with the art on the cover of Wayfinders (so it is definitely Eberron) and the banner specifically uses the Rising from the Last War title. This is just the marketing team shifting from Avernus to Eberron to give the books equal time.

The book coming Monday is not likely Eberron.

Based on what are they too fresh? they were done in December, there is time to put them in a mid March book.
Based on the fact that they didn't even open up the survey for the last ones until right before Christmas break. And on top of that the number of options in the recent UAs isn't enough to fill a book like Xanathar's.

When they playtested the Xanathar options they did 2-4 options for each class in the UAs, starting in the fall of 2016. They continued playtesting options until June of 2017 for a November release. It was a full year between the start of Xan UAs to the books release. No way they can get the same quality for a book in March when they started testing UAs in November.

Who says it's going to be XGTE 2 that these subclasses are going to be used in? It's just as likely they will be used in a very different sort of book.
