Marked by Destiny, Marked by Tragedy (Erekose13 Judging)

[sblock=w&a]With tensions high, one of the guards starts to draw his sword intending to add emphasis to his leader's request. "Hold your sword, Kallik." says the Denieth heir. "There is no need to shed blood here. You say you have knowledge of the vision. I would know more. Please let us take this discussion elsewhere. The Denieth enclave is not far, and it is quite secure. You have my word that you are not under arrest and that you will be treated fairly." he says his tone changing after Weapon's impassioned speech. "Our skycab is just over there." he says pointing to the open air cab emplazoned with the watch icon on it.[/sblock]

[sblock=Arvan, Bennit, Brelach, and Silvanon]The halfling is taken down from the rafter, and struggles a bit as she is re tied and gagged. The gang is ready to evacuate the premisis, leaving the dead kobold to stain poor Flynn's basement floor.[/sblock]

ooc: gah, I had posted something similar to this, but it appears to have been eaten.

[SBLOCK=W&A]"How about a tavern? The Merlock Gnomes always meet with clients and benefactors either in their office or in a tavern. That could have a nice ambience. Plus it's easier to have a nice chat when you aren't surrounded by armed guards like Kallik here who might be a bit quick on the draw with their blades, you know? Eases the nerves and all that. Besides, while my preliminary investigatory research on the topic of the vision has been both fruitful and fascinating, it isn't anything secret--if it was confidential, I would have needed to get a release from my primary client, you see."

(OOC: To speed things up, if he refuses to meet at a neutral ground, she'll ask for a letter stating that the Inquisitive Alysina Verani is under the employment of the watch and is taking action on their behalf and may not be detained or impounded, signed by him, with a second copy sent to the scribes be notarised and then automatically filed on her behalf in case she is, in fact, detained)[/SBLOCK]

[sblock=W&A]Weapon stand impassively, lending his presence to Alysina. He preferred being the strong silent type anyway.[/sblock]

Brelach scowls at the mess on the floor. "Well, Flynn- I didn't like you that much, anyway."

He then gathers up a few things, and leads the group out of a back door onto the streets.

"How are we meeting up with the others?"

[sblock=w&a]"My House is anything but trecherous, however I am willing to compromize. We have available either our sky cab, right there, or a watch station around the corner. The station is a simple one and lacks any form of gaol." he replies, willing to meet you part way but not as open as a tavern or inn.[/sblock]

The alley behind Flynn's is empty at the moment, though sounds issuing from the front of it are audible even back here.

ooc: anyone remember what time of day this was or what the weather was like? if not I'll say its early night and there is a light drizzle forming.

[SBLOCK=W&A]"In The Merlock Gnomes and the Scandal in Breland, one of the bad guys turned out to be a guard, you know? I'm not suggesting you, but it could be one of the other ones. However, they'd never expect us to go to the local watch station around the corner. That should be fine, but you do know it sets a different kind of mood than usual--usually if you wanted to hire me, you'd come to my office instead, you know? Just as long as we make sure this is still a nice informal business talk like when Mr. Huxtable comes to hire the Merlock Gnomes for The Adventure of the Silver Flame Priory School. Remember, the clues I unearth are my well-being. Solving mysteries is what keeps bread on the table for me, just as your honourable protection of our fair city does for you."

*When it's clear that she is willing to work for the watch, rather than this being an interrogation, Alysina agrees to follow along to the local station.*[/SBLOCK]

Silvanon Rogue 1, Hp: 7/7

ooc: It was early in the evening.

"Lets head over to the hospital where the woman went after the gnome. They should still be there, at least the gnome will be."

"Lets also try and be a little discreet," He says, looking towards those with kobold blood on their clothes," as a tied up halfing will attract some attention."

OOC: Weapon's time is early the next morning (before dawn, so really late night) as he waited in front of the house for a while.
