Marked By Destiny, Marked by Tragedy Part 2 (No Judge Yet)

OOC: The point I was trying to make above is that is was my understanding that a new save does not require an action, and thus Weapon can try to defend himself if said save failed. Bront led be to believe otherwise. If my understanding is correct, then Weapon's miraculous 21 save stands for this round.

(OOC: You and Bront are both correct but misunderstanding each other. Disbelieving does not require an action, but you also do have to choose to disbelieve it (i.e. choose not to voluntarily fail your save). There may be some cases where you do not choose to disbelieve it, for whatever reason)

Round 2 Begins
[Silvanon goes here and may make the new save.]

Weapon breaks free of the memory, realizing that he is still in the caverns. [Weapon may still act in round 2]

Brelach fails to break free from the memory. He has been spotted by at least one enemy... does he wish to continue to hide?

Sin casts dancing lights, sendin some torches to illuminate the warlock, who is hanging from the ceiling like a spider. She ducks back, trying to get more than 60' away and into the darkness.

Arvan, even with the action point, is still held within the memory. Real or not, he's engaged this round in fighting for his life in an ancient battle.

[Ranya the Warlock will go once we hear from Silvanon, Weapon and Brelach.]

Silvanon Rogue 2, Hp: 11/12

Silvanon does his best to get his mind around the concept that this is actually an illusion, but it seems so real and logical to him at this point.

Battle in formation is something he never thought he would be doing, but here he is, marching with these aberrantly marked folks -- it seemed so right.

He does hear the others saying that it isn't, but he doesn't quite believe them.

Will save, round 2 (1d20+4=6)

Confused for a moment, Weapon tries to understand the false and real before him. Seeing Alys exposed, he tries to get before her to shield her from the unseen true foe.

Arvan continues to fight in the battle then.

OOC: I don't think I ever said it took an action, I just said you could choose to fail (IE, not try to make) a save. It is a "free" action to save if you get the chance.

Brelach will get ready to fight, then. If able to, he'll line up for a sneak attack on Ranya - can Spellthieves steal spells from Warlocks? Probably not, I suppose.

OOC: Psst, you don't see her, you're still in the battle of the past...

OOC: Yeah. I shoulda spent an action point. The trouble with spelltheives is they never get a chance to steal a spell, and then when they GET the chance... they fail their stupid will save and have to face Phantasmal Deneith Guardsmen.

I've seen it a thousand times.
